• Consultation with parents seeking information regarding their child’s learning needs and performance
• Administration and results analysis of specific achievement testing on-site
• Creation of a Differentiated Educational Plan, including test results and recommended accommodations, for students who receive direct services through the Learning Resource Center*
• Collaboration with families and teachers to investigate possible learning challenges, to problem solve, determine appropriate interventions, and ensure that students’ learning needs are being met through in-house and/or outside resources
• Supervision and administration of alternative testing environments
• Implementation of student-driven sessions that work towards strengthening identified academic skills*
• Facilitation of out-sourced testing and consultation with area specialists and schools
• Coordination with out-side resources to work with students in-house during the school day
• Supervision of teachers who provide tutoring and homework guide assistance to students
• Assistance with graduates’ transitions to new school environments by meeting with the appropriate school personnel
• Creation of workshops that are focused on high interest areas for teachers and parents
