Zero Bell Strings Students Participate in Music in the Parks Festival
Zero Bell Strings students participated in the “Music in the Parks” Festival at Busch Gardens earlier this month. Students received an “Excellent” rating and won first place in the elementary division. This is the fourth time our Zero Bell Strings students have earned this distinction.
The competition is judged by an outside panel, and the “Music in the Parks” Festival serves as a broader year-end assessment that reinforces music skills being taught in the classroom.
Participation in the event offers school music programs across the region enhanced visibility as “Music in the Parks” is a national event.
Twenty students participated in the Zero Bell Strings Program this year. Students in this program perform for the Saint Patrick community twice per year—once in December and again in May.
